It may be almost 35 years since Sir Anthony Hopkins took on the infamous role of cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, but he’s still capable of slipping into the character at a moments notice — with unnerving results.

In the Late Show clip above, Stephen Colbert challenges the actor to read classic movie lines in the style of Hannibal Lecter. Who would have known that even Dirty Dancing‘s “Nobody puts baby in the corner” line could sound terrifying?
